About The Festival
|

| |
A lot can change over a year or two.
A British reality show can create more publicity for an Indian artist in her own country.
A team which never expected to qualify for the Final can lift the World Cup.
Even an entire planet like Pluto can be made to stand out of the solar system class for not doing it’s homework. (Heck, it was a last bencher anyways).
But then again, hundreds of cameras can roll tons of feet of tape, etching rememberable moments on celluloid. Remarkable talent can sprout from nowhere. One short film can change the world. All in all, since the last time we’ve met, we’re sure that there are many things to talk about. It’s good to see you all again.
In 2006, we started a movement. In 2007, we took it miles ahead and changed everything. This year, we’re going nuts! We’re opening up all channels of the dam. Let it gush out.
This is ICE 2008. We’re back for a fantabulous celebration of digital short film culture from India as well as abroad. You can expect everything that happens in an ICE festival and a lot more as usual. Short films, short films and even more short films. Oh, yes and a few more. All mind blowing. Add to that more opportunities for genuine talent and interaction within the community. Things that are now synonymous with ICE are back for the third time in a row.
This is a never ending adventure, an anthem to promote and celebrate digital and more importantly, independent film making of the highest quality. We believe that awareness is a virtue. We intend to increase that with ICE every year. There is no limit to enrichment, no boundaries for talent and no horizons which cannot be chased. We’re in top gear building up for the fest. It would be interesting to see who would be winning the accolades this year. We think you’ll agree with us too.
Let there be ICE!!! |
